Jujitsu academy Shrewsbury Shropshire is part of the British Combat Association ( BCA ) who are a great influence in the mixed martial arts, and martial arts in general. Many clubs stick to a syllabus of outdated unusable techniques, but here at ju-jitsu academy we have a diverse syllabus which also incorporates modern usable self defence techniques.
Our chief instructor Sensei Shane Oliver is knowledgeable and open minded in his approach to martial arts training. He has put together a brilliant jujitsu syllabus based on his many years experience in teaching jujitsu as well as making it current.
Our syllabus has been thoroughly checked and assesed by the BCA's Peter Consterdine himself. We teach a wide ranging diverse set of techniques from other martial arts and street combat methodologies.

This is to inform you that we are in no way associated with Shrewsbury Jujitsu Academy, who are part of the Cheshire Budo Federation and world jujitsu federation (WJJF).
In addition we do not follow the WJJF syllabus, our jujitsu syllabus has been thoroughly checked and endorsed by the British Combat Association’s Peter Consterdine himself and Trevor Roberts who are both highly respected members of the Martial Arts community.
We do not just teach traditional jujitsu we also teach applied jujitsu which is basically a practical and modern application of a traditional system.
Our instructors are second to none, both in their qualifications and ability to teach and also in the strength with which they uphold our ethos: to teach all people who are willing to learn regardless of age, gender, physical ability or religion. All our instructors are friendly and enthusiastic and always ready to encourage you to perform to your best ability. They all have an enhanced CRB.
