In fact because our instructors have been training children for so long, we have new kids all the time from recommendations from other parents and children and they love it. We take a lot of pleasure from seeing their confidence grow. Our instructors are highly qualified and have many years experience teaching children, and are also CRB police checked.

Jujitsu academy takes the subject of anti bullying very seriously as it seems to be one of the biggest problems in schools and communities today.

No matter what your reasons for wanting your child to learn martial arts are, we can help. We are parents too and jujitsu academy is a family run group of clubs. You can also discuss your child’s individual needs with us to help us do the best for the child.

Our little students are exceptionally friendly to other children and are always keen to assist new students fit in, progress with techniques and enjoy training. Parents are usually permitted to stay and watch the first couple of lessons if it helps the child feel more comfortable. We take children from as young as 5 years old regardless of gender, race, physical ability and religion. Children are always encouraged to learn at their own individual pace and will not be forced to participate in activities they do not feel comfortable doing. Our approach to children’s jujitsu is to make training fun and habitual, rather than a chore.

You do not have to purchase a jujitsu gear or training licence until you have established that your child/ children want to continue training. With our club you will not be tied in to contracts or direct debit schemes, we have special offers if you are registering siblings and remember the first lesson is free for all.
